The Opportunity
They are looking to attract an experienced“Building Surveyor”to join an existing team in the Torquay office.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Undertaking refurbishment projects ranging from £50,000 to £2,000,000
* Overseeing both traditional and Design & Build (D&B) projects, encompassing new builds and refurbishments
* Excelling in client management to ensure project success
* Efficiently handling contract administration responsibilities
* Expertly preparing comprehensive tender packages
* Conducting diverse building surveys to support project requirements
* Leading by example and providing valuable assistance to junior team members
The Ideal Candidate
They are looking for candidates with recent Construction Consultancy experience, as well as:
* MRICS or willing to work towards Chartereship
* Proficient in the use of AutoCad as well as a basic understanding of professional services
* Strong proficiency in IT tools, including Word, Excel, email, etc.
* Exceptional communication skills
* Outstanding organisational abilities for prioritising work and meeting deadlines
* Flexible with a positive approach
* Impressive client-facing skills, personable, and a keen sense of commercial awareness
