Overview
Our client is launching a new tabletop production line and we're looking for a hands‑on, proactive Production Line Supervisor to lead the team of new operatives. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of an exciting phase of growth, working with new machinery and helping shape the future of our production capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee daily operations of the new tabletop production line, ensuring efficiency and quality.
* Supervise and support a team of production operatives, providing training and guidance as needed.
* Operate and maintain machinery used for laminating and cutting MDF.
* Monitor production output and troubleshoot issues to minimise downtime.
* Ensure health & safety standards are upheld across the production area.
* Collaborate with the Production Manager to implement process improvements and meet production targets.
Ideal Candidate
* Previous experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing or production environment.
* Familiarity with tabletop production processes, particularly laminating and cutting MDF.
* Comfortable working with new machinery and adapting to evolving production methods.
* Strong leadership and communication skills.
* A practical, solutions‑focused mindset with attention to detail.
