Wrap Around Care Worker – Morning/Afternoon Session – Maternity Cover Contract GRADE: Salary: Band A SCP 3 £24,796 per annum pro rata Hours: 7.5 hours per week (7.30am- 9.00am daily) and 12.5 hours per week (3.30pm-6.00pm daily), term time only training days Required for: ASAP Wednesfield Technology Primary School is part of the Shireland Collegiate Academy Trust, providing staff with opportunities to progress both within the school, and across the Trust. We are a brand new innovative two-form entry free school primary that opened in September 2024 and is situated in the heart of Wednesfield. We are looking for someone who is of a collaborative and friendly disposition who can work as part of a team providing wrap around care working with the school and the Nursery. Duties and responsibilities: - Provide a warm, welcoming and stimulating environment for children who attend clubs Support the planning of sessions for those children, ensuring there are engaging and age/stage appropriate activities/ opportunities to enhance child learning and participation Liaise with WTP staff in regard to children’s needs Ensuring all children are signed in/out of the service as necessary Liaise with parents/carers to ensure all information regarding their child is up to date and relevant information is shared- Completed Registration Forms / Daily Verbal Feedback To ensure children’s needs are met, taking into account any individual needs i.e. care/ dietary/ cultural Ensuring children are safely taken to/ collected from their appropriate classrooms in order to access the wraparound care Provide a safe outdoor environment where children can access a range of opportunities Such other duties as may be appropriate to achieve the objectives of the post or to assist the Academy in the fulfilment of its objectives commensurate with the post holder’s salary grade, abilities and aptitudes.
