We’re looking for a Private Client Paralegal to join a growing, well-regarded team in York. Who we’re looking for
* Paralegal with at least 1 year’s private client experience
* Exposure to wills and LPAs preferred; probate-only experience less suited
* Open to NQs and 1–3PQE solicitors, as well as non-qualified fee earners
* Organised, proactive and detail-focused with strong client-care skills
* Willingness to learn and develop, particularly in HNW matters
What you’ll be doing
* Supporting senior lawyers on HNW estates and complex tax/estate planning
* Running your own caseload of wills, LPAs and probate files
* Drafting documents and handling client correspondence
* Liaising with clients, intermediaries and other professionals
* Playing an active role in the team’s growth and future development
Salary & Benefits
* Salary: £45,000–£55,000 DOE
* Hours: Full time (35 hours), part time considered
* Flexible working: 2 days from home; blend of Harrogate/Leeds office attendance
* Holiday: 25 days + bank holidays + extra leave for length of service
* Support for STEP, CILEX or training contract (with tuition fees covered)
* Clear progression path: Paralegal → Associate → Senior Associate
