Role Overview
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Head Chef to lead our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with fresh food, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to design, cost, and deliver menus that appeal to our guests.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the day-to-day running of the kitchen.
* Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality, freshly prepared dishes.
* Create and cost seasonal menus and daily specials.
* Maintain a clean, safe, and organised kitchen in line with food hygiene standards.
* Manage stock control, ordering, and waste reduction.
* Train, motivate, and support junior kitchen staff.
* Work closely with management to deliver excellent customer satisfaction.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef.
* Strong knowledge of fresh food preparation and menu development.
* Ability to manage kitchen operations, including stock and cost control.
* Excellent understanding of food hygiene, safety, and kitchen organisation.
* Creative flair with a passion for seasonal and local ingredients.
* Ability to work well under pressure and lead a team effectively.
