Key ResponsibilitiesLead on-site commissioning of generator systems, ensuring full compliance with design, specification and performance requirementsAttend internal design meetings and collaborate with Design Engineers and Project ManagersCoordinate testing and commissioning activities, including documentation and procedural guidanceWork closely with client-side engineers, BMS teams, DNOs and IT departments to ensure smooth project deliveryOversee system testing, record results, witness acceptance, and compile documentation for project handoverEnsure safe and efficient commissioning of completed installations in line with project timelinesDeliver on-site handover training to client teamsSupport installation activities and FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing) when requiredEssential RequirementsMinimum 3 years experience as a Generator Commissioning Engineer (or similar role)Strong electrical engineering knowledge across LV generation and power distribution systemsExperience with control systems such as ComAp, Deep Sea Electronics (DSE), and related software suitesConfident working with multi-set systems, synchronisation, G99 testing and commissioningPractical PLC programming experienceCompetent IT skills, including Microsoft Office and laptop-based engine/control softwareAble to work independently, manage on-site activities and handle pressured situationsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsWhats on Offer£42,000£52,000 depending on experienceCompany vehicle + fuelOvertime opportunitiesCompany phoneCashplan health benefitBonus schemeEnhanced maternity/paternity leave25 days holiday (rising with loyalty)Comprehensive training and developmentLong-term career stability within a well-established, financially strong engineering organisationWhy Apply?
