Part time Catering Assistant Location: Derby Hourly rate: £12.21 Working hours: 9am till 2pm Shifts: between Monday - Friday Contract type: Temporary Start date: ASAP *Please note due to the location you would need to be able to drive* We are currently looking for hard-working, enthusiastic people to join our client's team to work in a busy warehouse kitchen environment. This is a great opportunity, that offers ongoing weekend work. We are looking for individuals with previous experience in a catering environment. As a Catering Assistant role can be a great stepping stone into other roles within the hospitality and catering industry, or other areas of work. As a Catering Assistant you will (Not limited to): Catering Assistant duties Assisting those in the kitchen with you Washing pots/pans/utensils General food prep Serving food at the counter in a canteen environment Working front of house Following all health and safety procedures Keeping surfaces clean and tidy Clearing tables Operating tills As a Catering Assistant you will have the following skills: Able to work within a fast-paced environment Great customer service skills Punctual Excellent communication skills Able to multi-task Can work well within a team and independently Can follow direct orders Polite and friendly Able to build good relationships Travelling: The right candidate needs to have their own transport.
