Junior Sous Chef - The Swan. The Swan is our flagship hotel with AA 4 Red star recognition and two Rosettes for our restaurant, located on Southwold Marketplace.

Responsibilities
* Oversee the maintenance of kitchen and food safety standards.
* Support management of stock and monitoring of wastage.
* Contribute to planning and implementation of menu ideas.
* Develop and explore all areas of the kitchen to enhance knowledge, including hot, cold, larder, sauce and butchery sections.
* Assist in developing up-and-coming talent and work with the Sous Chef and Head Chef to build on strengths and experience.
* Work effectively with the Front of House team to ensure guests have a memorable stay.
* Be able to work under pressure and maintain great communication; be a team player.
* Flexibility to work weekends as The Swan operates 7 days a week.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in a similar environment with a hands-on approach in a commercial kitchen.
* Passion for consistently creating stunning dishes and a willingness to learn across kitchen sections.
