Trigild is a leading fiduciary services firm engaged by lenders and owners for state and federal receiverships, bankruptcy administration, forensic accounting, and commercial and hospitality asset management.

A receiver is an unbiased third party appointed by a court to take legal possession of a property. The receiver is not an agent for the lender, but a third party who becomes an agent of the court to protect the property and business from being damaged or its value being diminished. More specifically, a receiver is responsible for asset managing the assets and operations that represent the security for the loan — its improvements, furniture, fixtures, equipment, and income — as well as accounting for all receipts, disbursements, and repairs and maintenance.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Hotel Analyst / Associate / Junior Asset Manager to join our hospitality-focused team. Based in Dallas, this in-office role supports the strategic asset management of U.S. hotels that are in receivership.

The ideal candidate will have hotel experience and/or education in operations, revenue management, acquisitions, dispositions, and/or asset management. An understanding of hotel principals and terminology, analytical foundation, a passion for hospitality real estate, and the ability to contribute to tracking of performance and key initiatives of the receivership.

This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career professional to gain exposure to above property asset management lifecycle of distressed hotels while collaborating with senior leadership, hotel management companies, and investment sales brokers, as well as frequent interactions with lenders.

Responsibilities:

* Support the asset management team with on-boarding, monitoring property performance, tracking key asset management initiatives, and advancing the business plan for hotel assets across the U.S.
* Assist in the review and analysis of property-level financial statements, STR reports, cash flows, capital expenditures, and brand reporting.
* Track key hotel performance metrics (RevPAR, ADR, Occupancy, GOP, NOI) and identify areas for operational improvement using Excel and industry tools.
* Participate in budgeting, forecasting, capital planning, and strategic planning processes for assigned hotel assets.
* Analyze Prepare and maintain financial models, operating forecasts, and cash flow projections
* Collaborate with hotel operators, brand representatives, investment sales brokers, and third-party consultants to execute business plans.
* Help prepare receivership reports, asset summaries, and presentations to the lender for approvals as necessary to perform receivership duties.
* Conduct market and competitor research to support underwriting and decision-making.
* Assist in the review of management agreements, franchise agreements, comfort letter, capital expenditures, and operation funding requests.
* Participate in site visits and property inspections to assess hotel condition and team performance.
* Stay informed on industry trends and economic factors impacting the hospitality sector.

Desired Competency, Experience, and Skills:

* Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Real Estate, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
* 1–5 years of relevant experience with a combination of operations, hotel asset management, hospitality finance, revenue management, or real estate analysis. Experience as a hotel Area General Manager or General Manager is a plus.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required; experience with PowerPoint, CoStar, STR, Copilot, and hotel-specific systems is a plus.
* Highly organized and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
* Strong quantitative and analytical skills; attention to detail is essential.
* Knowledge of key hotel operating metrics (RevPAR, ADR, Occupancy, GOP, NOI) preferred.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Initiative-taker with an intuitive mindset with a strong desire to immerse themselves in the business.
* Willingness to travel for site visits and meetings as needed.

This is a unique opportunity for a driven junior professional to grow within a unique and highly relevant asset management platform in today's market, gaining direct experience in asset managing hospitality assets nationwide.

This position is 100% in-office. The role requires working in office during standard business hours. Remote work or telecommuting is not an option for this position.

Pay Range
$75,000—$95,000 USD
