The Role
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate looking to start a career in Insurance as we seek a Junior London Market Controller, to join our Working Capital team. Here you will provide support to the business in becoming more operationally efficient and effective to ensure we are achieving best practice.
Key Responsibilities
* Processing our fees into Xchanging.
* To be responsible for the London Market collection.
* Manage the allocated ledger.
* Liaising with both internal and external teams to collate supporting documents.
* Support the Working Capital team in delivering results.
* Improve cash collections with prompt and accurate processing.
* Any ad hoc duties assigned.
Key Attributes
* Analytical mind and a keen eye for detail.
* A desire to learn and develop within a team environment.
* Good communication skill.
* Willing to learn new technical skills.
Required Skills
* Strong IT skills including Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Teams etc.
* Experience working within a finance department or Credit Control Team.
* 1 + years’ experience in a corporate environment.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Good time management and organisational skills.
* Team player with a can-do attitude who is also comfortable working independently without supervision.
* Experience of insurance operations (Desirable).
* Any qualifications related to finance.
