Position: Head of Year
Contract: Full-time, permanent
* Condensed school year with two week half term in October

Key responsibilities
* Lead and manage the achievement, progress and pastoral provision for a year group of students
* Have responsibility for the strategic overview of the year group, including self evaluation and the improvement plan for the year group
* Monitor student progress including attendance, achievement and behaviour
Requirements
* Ability to demonstrate an awareness, understanding and commitment to the protection and safeguarding of children
* Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent
* Ability to evidence effective continuous professional development
