The provision caters for pupils with a variety of SEND requirements, including autism, communication difficulties, moderate learning needs and social, emotional and behavioural challenges. What You'll Be Doing As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a key role in maintaining continuity of learning when teaching staff are unavailable. Supervising classes across different age groups Delivering pre-prepared lesson activities Encouraging participation and engagement Promoting positive conduct and classroom routines Supporting pupils to access learning effectively Liaising with teaching staff regarding pupil progress Assisting with interventions and small group sessions Building strong professional relationships with learners Maintaining a calm and structured atmosphere Contributing to the wider life of the provision What We're Looking For A minimum of 6 months' experience working with children or young people Confidence leading groups independently Strong communication and organisational abilities A resilient and flexible approach Interest in SEND education Ability to motivate and inspire learners Experience in schools, youth work, residential care, sports coaching or mentoring is highly desirable.
