A well-known, highly respected and independent insurance Broker based in Manchester is seeking an experienced Claims Manager to join their Broker function.
This is a key leadership role, responsible for the day-to-day management of the claims team while also handling a personal caseload of complex claims.
The Role
1. Lead and manage a team of 3 Claims Handlers
2. Oversee the day-to-day running of the claims function
3. Handle and manage your own portfolio of claims
4. Act as a senior point of escalation for complex or high-value claims
5. Ensure excellent service delivery to clients and stakeholders
6. Maintain strong relationships with insurers and Loss Adjusters
The Ideal Candidate
7. Proven background in commercial claims within an insurance Broker environment
8. Ideally experienced in handling professional indemnity and cyber insurance claims
9. Previous experience managing or supervising a claims team
10. Strong technical knowledge of claims processes
11. Excellent communication, organisational and stakeholder management skills
12. Ability to balance leadership responsibilities with a personal caseload
