As a Production Supervisor at Terex, based in Omagh, you'll play a pivotal role in building equipment that helps improve the lives of people around the world.
What you’ll do:
Reporting to the Production Manager, the Supervisor will be involved in managing and coordinating the building of mobile crushing machines to meet on-time deliveries in the most effective manner.
Duties include:
1. Lead and manage the production team daily, including labour, work instructions, attendance, training, employee relations.
2. Control and manage production levels to achieve targets.
3. Monitor material flow for timely availability of parts and materials.
4. Strive for continuous improvement to maintain high product quality.
5. Organize and attend daily and weekly production meetings.
6. Promote health and safety and ensure compliance with all regulations.
7. Ensure the production line adheres to lean manufacturing practices.
8. Perform other reasonable duties as required.
9. Ensure compliance with site rules, regulations, and policies.
What you’ll bring:
Experience & Qualifications:
* Minimum GCSE level or equivalent qualification.
* Significant production experience in a high-pressure manufacturing environment.
* Proven supervisory and people management skills.
* Understanding of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement techniques is advantageous.
* Knowledge of visual management.
* Computer literacy, experience with Oracle/ERP systems.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to meet deadlines and adapt to changing priorities.
* Good team player and able to work independently.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
* Hardworking, self-motivated.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* High communication skills.
* Flexible to meet business demands.
