About the Role
Barker’s is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Support – Food Ingredients specialist to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a respected organization committed to providing exceptional customer service. This role is responsible for:
* Processing customer sales orders and work orders in internal systems
* Communicating order status and delivery timelines to customers
* Ensuring timely and accurate invoicing, including Certificates of Analysis
* Logging and managing customer complaints, and coordinating with Quality for resolution
* Collecting and updating customer sales forecasts monthly
* Monitoring stock levels and generating reports to support S&OP meetings
* Maintaining accurate pricing and product data in Exonet
* Supporting new product introductions and deletions, including customer communication
* Assisting the Business Manager and Junior Sales Rep with data analysis, briefs, and customer communications
What We’re Looking For:
* Minimum 3 years’ experience in customer service, administration, or sales support
* Strong Excel skills and confidence with data analysis
* Familiarity with inventory management systems
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a customer-friendly tone
* High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
* A proactive, self-driven attitude with the ability to use initiative
* A friendly, approachable personality and ability to work well with others
* Willingness to challenge the status quo and contribute ideas
* Understanding of forecasting, stock management, and order processing
