The role
From Mid 2024, our new Manufacturing facility set-up in Milton Keynes will be well under-way! So, we are looking for a new Junior Manufacturing Systems Manager to assist, guide and enhance our IT Operations - focusing on the development of our core manufacturing systems.
No day is the same, but here's an insight in to what you'll get up to:
* WMS and MES system maintenance to ensure the factory has continuous and uninterrupted access to the tools required for operation.
* Refining the Korber WMS and Tulip MES
* Collaborate with IT and manufacturing teams to identify, develop, and implement WMS and MES system improvements and enhancements.
* Serve as the primary contact for IT-related issues within the manufacturing facility, troubleshooting problems and ensuring minimal downtime.
* Work closely with the Senior IT Operations Manager to align manufacturing IT systems with organisational goals and objectives.
* Facilitate user training and develop documentation to ensure users are equipped to utilise systems effectively.
* Ensure compliance with IT policies, procedures, and standards within the manufacturing environment.
* Provide IT support within the factory, ensuring all manufacturing IT systems and infrastructure operate efficiently and reliably.
* Collaborate with external support contractors and IT Operations across other Huel sites to ensure seamless integration for all users.

What we're looking for in you
The role is best suited to someone with a strong understanding of manufacturing processes and WMS & MES systems. Administering and enhancing these systems is vital, so we're really looking for someone with an ability to manage IT projects, able to work collaboratively and bring fresh, new ideas to the table. We're still learning ourselves! So we're really keen to have someone onboard who can help steer our technology infrastructure and make recommendations to improve efficiencies. You will be someone with a willingness to learn, adapt and welcome change as things can change quite quickly here at Huel! You will also be providing 1st line support to those at our MK site, so having the ability to ensure our IT systems and infrastructure operates efficiently is key
