THE SEARCH:
Drax Altus have been retained by one of Europe’s leading private asset managers, overseeing over $70bn in AUM across private equity, credit, and energy-related strategies. The firm is seeking a Director-level professional to lead the development and management of its private credit product suite, driving key initiatives that translate investor needs and market insights into actionable plans and deliverables across existing and new credit strategies.
This newly created role will be pivotal in shaping and expanding the platform, involving a high level of engagement with the firm’s senior leadership across multiple functions, and contributing meaningfully to the continued growth of its private credit franchise, a core engine of the firm’s long-term success.
THE ROLE:
* Support and execute product development and management across private credit strategies, collaborating with investment, IR, and marketing teams to ensure alignment with investor demand.
* Drive the institutionalisation of scalable processes and systems for product management, embedding best practices and operational excellence.
* Assist in the design, launch, and enhancement of fund offerings and related materials to support product strategy execution.
* Support the Senior Director in managing and developing the IR team, overseeing DDQs, RFPs, investor reporting, and wider project-management tasks.
* Partner with leadership to implement investor engagement and fundraising strategies, coordinating communications and ensuring consistent messaging.
* Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing and prospective investors across all levels to deliver a high-quality client experience.
* Analyze market and investor feedback to identify trends and inform product innovation.
* Support the external positioning of the business, raising the profile of the platform and its strategies within the global investor community
THE REQUIREMENTS:
* Demonstrated expertise in private credit strategies (Direct Lending focus), including associated data management processes and credit fund performance communication.
* Ability to lead complex workstreams with tight deadlines and involving coordination with multiple stakeholders
* Team player and good at quickly building relationships with colleagues across the organisation
* Able to work in large and diversified global teams and to interact with senior management
* Desire and ability to manage and to develop others in the team
* Strong understanding of fundraising dynamics and investor focus areas
* High level of self-motivation, integrity and judgement
