Job Summary
Wyre Forest Health Partnership (WFHP) – up to 8 sessions per week – is seeking a GP Partner to join a large multi‑site partnership based primarily at Kidderminster Medical Centre with cross‑site working opportunities.
WFHP has 28 GP Partners, 30 salaried GPs, employs 300 staff, and operates 5 practices serving 73,000 patients across Kidderminster, Bewdley, Stourport and Hagley. The role includes leadership, clinical teaching and business development responsibilities.
Full equity partner with a 6‑month mutual probationary period.
Responsibilities
* Provide routine GP sessions (max 15 contacts per session) and support specialist clinical interests.
* Attend partnership board meetings and contribute to clinical, financial and operational governance.
* Lead or contribute to site leadership, financial and business development initiatives.
* Support teaching, research, mentoring and supervision of trainees.
* Engage in clinical compliance, auditing and NICE technology assessment guidance.
* Participate in regular training, business planning sessions and away‑day meetings.
* Work collaboratively across sites to maintain service quality and patient safety.
Qualifications – Essential
* Professional UK medical qualification.
* Evidence of continuous professional development.
* Experience working within primary care.
Experience – Essential
* Independent practice experience.
* Auditing practice compliance against NICE guidance.
Experience – Desirable
* Previous GP or primary care practice role.
* Track record in quality, patient safety and service improvement.
* Effective partnership experience with internal and external stakeholders.
