We are looking for motivated and enthusiastic people who are passionate about sustainability, energy efficiency and are looking to begin their career as a Domestic Energy Assessor. This is an entry-level opportunity, ideal for candidates who are new to the sector and eager to learn. Salary: £27,000 - £45,000 OTE
Location: London
Hours: Monday-Friday 8.30am-6pm
Key Responsibilities
Carry out domestic Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) assessments in line with current legislation, accreditation body requirements and industry standards.
Produce accurate and compliant EPCs within agreed turnaround times.
Collect, record and upload property data accurately using approved software and systems.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of EPC legislation, building regulations and energy efficiency standards with support and ongoing training.
Liaise professionally with the bookings administrators, sales/lettings offices and external clients to arrange and complete assessments.
Return completed assessors and associated documentation within required deadlines.
Following company procedures, quality standards and health & safety guidelines always.
Respond to queries or feedback relating to completed EPCs in a timeline and professional manner.
Represent the company positively and professionally when visiting properties and interacting with all clients.
Requirements
Full UK driving licence and car desired but not essential.
Smart and well presented.
Punctual and highly organised.
Excellent customer service.
Able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
Excellent time management skills with ability to prioritise workload.
Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Good general knowledge of the London Area.
Confident with excellent communication skills.
Willingness to travel – car/bike/public transport for Central London only, with travel costs reimbursed.
