Thisfull-timeposition is set to begin inSeptember or October 2025, with the potential for apermanent contractfollowing a successful probation period.

Responsibilities of an Art & Design Teacher:
* Deliver engaging and imaginative Art & Design lessons to secondary school students.
* Develop and implement innovative lesson plans that encourage creativity and critical thinking.
* Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support artistic growth.
* Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that celebrates diversity and self-expression.
* Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to a dynamic and supportive school culture.
* Participate in school exhibitions, workshops, and extracurricular activities that promote the arts.
* Stay current with developments in art education and integrate contemporary practices into teaching.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)or equivalent.
* A strong passion for teaching Art & Design and nurturing student creativity.
* Experience teaching Art & Design at the secondary level (ECTs are encouraged to apply).
* Ability to design and deliver engaging, student-centered lessons.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
* A commitment to student well-being and academic success.
* A collaborative and proactive approach to working with staff and students.
* An up-to-date CV (covering the last ten years with no unexplained gaps) and anenhanced DBSregistered on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
