Location: Kilburn, W9 Contract Type: Full-time until July 2026, permanent contract available Start Date: October 2025 Pay Rate: MPS/UPS Inner London We are working with a lovely mainstream primary school based in Kilburn, who are looking for an experienced SEN teacher to work within their new SEN provision to start ASAP/October half term. Please see below the details; * You will be teaching a small group of KS1 children with Autism * Excellent transport links and car park on site * Ideally they are looking for a teacher with experience teaching in a primary SEN provision/ SEN school We are looking for someone who can create an inclusive learning environment, differentiating instruction to meet individual needs, and promoting the educational, social, and emotional development of students. Key Responsibilities: * Develop and implement differentiated lessons and activities that meet the needs of students with a range of abilities and learning styles. * Work proactively and effectively in collaboration and partnership with learners, parents/carers, governors, other staff and external agencies in the best interests of pupils. * Plan, teach, and assess lessons in line with the Key Stage 1 curriculum, ensuring that lessons are tailored to the individual needs of the students. * Teach a small group of students with a range of special educational needs. * Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and supported. * Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to support development * Work closely with colleagues, parents, and carers to ensure the best outcomes for children. Essential Skills & Experience: * Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) * Experience teaching Key Stage 1 students, preferably with a focus on students with additional needs. * Understanding of child development and best practices in supporting students with diverse needs. * Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff If you are an enthusiastic teacher who is committed to making a positive difference in the lives of young children, we would love to hear from you
