About Us We're building Healthy Fridge, a women’s health-focused start-up on a mission to reimagine how food supports hormone balance and chronic conditions.
Backed by clinical insight and early traction, we’re creating a tech-enabled platform that combines medically tailored meals and personalised symptom tracking to support:

This is a part-time, equity-only opportunity to design a platform that could transform how women manage their health - through food.
Who We’re Looking For We're seeking a mission-aligned Founding UX/UI & Brand Designer to help bring our MVP to life and shape our product, experience, and identity from the ground up. Ideally, you have:
* Experience designing user-centred digital products, ideally within early-stage start-ups or high-growth environments
* Proven ability to design from scratch - including full visual brand identity, tone, and system
* Strong grasp of trust-building UX and high-conversion design principles
* Proficiency in Figma, Webflow, or similar tools
* A passion for mobile-first, accessible, and inclusive design
* A demonstrated interest in (or lived experience with) women’s health, hormones, or chronic health conditions
* The ability to collaborate on cross-functional decisions, including technical recruitment (e.g. our future full stack engineer)
* Availability to contribute 8–10 hours per week during the initial build phase (6–10 weeks)
* UK Based
What You’ll Do Working closely with the founder and dietetic lead, you will:
* Lead UX/UI design of onboarding, branching quiz logic, and symptom-first personalisation
* Design and shape our full brand identity - from colours and typography to tone and visual feel
* Create journeys for tailored meal plans and condition-specific experiences
* Build intuitive, trustworthy, and conversion-optimised mobile-first designs
* Help design our public-facing website and optimise user flows for conversion
* Contribute to design strategy, user testing, and iterative refinement
* Collaborate on platform thinking - including future dashboard, marketplace, and data insights features
* Have input into hiring a full stack engineer to deliver the technical build
