SCREENSHOT Media is hiring a superstar Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our crew! Reporting into our talented Business Development Manager, you'll be instrumental in growing our agency client base and developing direct sales capabilities across our owned & operated channels.

SCREENSHOT Media is an award winning new generation media company made out of our digital publishing and creative agency arms. Our mission is to create and distribute content across news, culture and entertainment to our core audience of 18-25 year olds on their own terms.

We have built one of the fastest growing Gen Z-specific media companies in the UK, grown organically through a savvy and creative team. Established just over 3 years ago, SCREENSHOT Media reaches half a billion (yes a billion) Gen Zers every month and accumulates shy of 50 million 1 minute unique views across our social media channels as well as our flagship website.

Our agency arm SCREENSHOT Agency helps best in class brands speak to Gen Z in an authentic and purposeful way, working with the likes of JD Sports, Wagamama, Pull & Bear, Calvin Klein and many more.

We dominate the Gen Z space with content that hits different and pride ourselves on the information we deliver to our audiences through each and every one of our channels. Our core purpose is to give the youth generation a voice by building communities that inform, engage and entertain.

As far as an exciting, next generation media company goes, this is it! And we’re looking for hardworking, savvy, creative and energetic people to join us for the ride.

As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) at SCREENSHOT Media you’ll be at the root of our sales team, tasked with generating exciting new leads and booking new business meetings. You’ll work closely with our Business Development Manager and CEO, playing a pivotal role in building our outbound sales pipeline. Your core responsibility will be proactively identifying and engaging potential new clients daily through strategic email outreach, targeted calls and out-of-the-box thinking, with an expectation of finding 60 new leads per day.

We see this role as the perfect opportunity for someone looking to launch their career in sales, alongside a chance to have a direct impact on our company’s growth, seeing your efforts translate into tangible new business and expanded market presence. As an SDR, you’ll not only gain invaluable experience in a fast-paced industry, but you’ll develop essential sales skills - everything from expert prospecting to compelling communication to mastering CRM tools and understanding the nuances of client engagement.

Success in this role opens doors to advanced positions within our sales team, such as Account Executive or Business Development Manager, where you’ll take on greater responsibility for closing deals and managing client relationships.

Role skills and requirements

* 0 to 2 years previous experience in a sales role at a Media Company or Agency, or within an Advertising or Media buying agency
* Strong negotiation and influencing skills
* Passion for advertising and marketing trends within digital and social-first
* Project management and time management ability
* Existing client relationships are a plus!
* Resilience and ability to work under pressure
* Self-motivation
* Ability to collaborate effectively with others
* Passionate about advertising and the creative industries
* Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
* Must be able to work on multiple projects simultaneously
* You have a quick-thinking ability and thrive in fast-paced environments
* You are able to collaborate within a team and are an effective communicator
* You are able to ideate new sales growth opportunities
* You are detail-oriented and love working with task management programmes
