Learning Support Assistant - NorthamptonLocation: NorthamptonStart Date: September 2025Contract: Full-Time - Long-Term or PermanentSalary: £90 -£120 per day (Depending on Experience and Role)

We are working in partnership with a number of inclusive and well-regarded secondary schools in Northampton who are seeking dedicated Learning Support Assistants to join their teams from September 2025. These full-time positions are ideal for individuals with a passion for education and supporting students with additional needs.
Role Overview:
* Provide one-to-one and small group support for students with special educational needs (SEN), including autism, ADHD, speech and language needs, and SEMH
* Assist teachers in delivering lesson content and adapting materials to meet individual learning needs
* Promote positive behaviour, emotional regulation, and engagement within the classroom
* Build strong, supportive relationships with students, encouraging confidence and independence
* Work closely with SENCOs, teaching staff, and external professionals to ensure consistent and effective support
* Help to track progress and contribute to the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
Who We're Looking For:
* Experience working with children or young people, particularly those with additional needs (preferred but not essential)
* Calm, empathetic, and resilient approach to supporting students
* Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport quickly
* A team player who is flexible and willing to adapt to the needs of the class and school
* A genuine interest in education, child development, or SEN
* Relevant qualifications or training (e.g. CACHE, TA qualification, psychology degree) are advantageous but not essential
