What's involved with this role: Job Title: Parking and CCTV Admin Technician Ref: Nuneaton 5275043 Role length: Anticipated 1 - 2 months Location: Nuneaton, Warwickshire Working arrangements: Hours are part time for 22.20 hours per week, preferably over 3 days The role: We are looking for a customer-focussed and experienced Parking and CCTV Admin Technician to provide administrative, clerical and project management support to the Parking Services and CCTV Manager for all car park and CCTV related functions. Working with the Director, team managers and supervisors within the Operations Directorate, you will ensure the group achieves excellence in its services to its customers, both internally and externally. Key responsibilities: Carry out administrative and clerical tasks and handle queries related to Parking and CCTV operations Support the delivery and administration of Parking and CCTV projects Process payments received via internet, post, or other available methods Update and maintain Penalty Charge records on the Chipside system, including scanning documents and allocating images to cases Order and maintain stationery supplies (e.g. PCNs, machine tickets, DVDs, Data Protection forms) via E-Buy or similar systems Investigate and respond to formal representations against PCNs, considering any mitigating circumstances Administer Level 1 Car User permits and car park season tickets Monitor CCTV and Civil Enforcement Officer rotas to ensure adequate cover, liaising with contractors and escalating issues as needed Handle public enquiries via phone, letter, email or in person on any parking or CCTV-related matter Identify and log any irregularities in PCN issuance and notify the Parking Services & CCTV Manager Liaise with DVLA, Traffic Enforcement Centre, Traffic Penalty Tribunal, and Enforcement Agents regarding PCN administration and debt recovery Use IT systems (e.g. Metric Alert/Aslan, Chipside, Designa, Synectics Stats) to accurately record and manage data Produce reports and management information from IT systems as required Maintain filing and correspondence systems within the team Record and reconcile cash collected from car park machines with audit tickets and banking receipts Ensure reception desk cover is provided during business hours What the client is looking for: GCSE (A-C) or equivalent in Maths and English A relevant car parking qualification or willingness to work towards Administrative experience in an office environment Experience of dealing with people and contractors face-to-face in difficult situations Proficient IT skills Experience of assisting with projects Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to deal tactfully and helpfully with the public in stressful situations How to Apply: Quote the Job Title and Reference Number in your application.
