* 40 hours per week
* Working pattern: 5 days over 7, 8 hours per day between 7am-7pm
**Equated pay (sometimes known as spread-over pay) is a method of paying you for your contracted hours, working weeks, and holiday pay spread over 12 months instead of just receiving pay during the months that you work and none during the school closures/non-working weeks. This means that you get paid equal amounts of pay every month. Further information will be supplied at interview stage.**
As a Kitchen Porter for Sodexo at Reed's School, Cobham, Surrey, you will be a key part of the kitchen team. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness within the kitchen and food & beverage preparation areas. Your cheerful, can-do attitude will make you a valued part of everyone's daily experience.

What you’ll do:
* Wash all crockery, cutlery, kitchen utensils, and equipment, including food service equipment.
* Keep the following areas clean and tidy to a very high standard: floors & walls, bins (inside and out), crushing and disposal of cardboard and boxes, fridges & freezers (with assistance of chefs), delivery areas.
* Maintain cleanliness and safety of working areas.
* Adhere to all health and safety, fire, hygiene, and COSHH regulations, ensuring the correct chemicals/detergents are used.
* Report all accidents (and near misses) to the Chef.
* Report shortages of equipment or chemicals to the Supervisor.
What you bring:
* Positive attitude, professionalism, and respect for others.
* Physical ability to lift heavy items and work in a standing position for long periods (up to 8 hours).
* No previous work experience required.
