Finance Officer (ASAP Start)
Location: Ealing, West London
Pay: £120–£135 per day (depending on experience and/or qualifications) Temp to Perm

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Finance Officer to join a dynamic and supportive alternative provision setting. This is a key role, providing high-quality financial and administrative support to the leadership team and contributing to the smooth running and overall success of the provision.
You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day financial operations, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with all financial procedures and regulations. Your work will directly support the provision’s mission to deliver exceptional opportunities for young people to achieve and thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage daily financial processes including invoices, orders, payments, and reconciliations
Support the preparation and monitoring of budgets, financial reports, and year-end procedures
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, assisting with audits and statutory returns
Liaise confidently with suppliers, staff, and external partners regarding financial matters
Ensure all financial activities are compliant with policies, procedures, and best practice standards
About You:
Experience in a finance or administrative role, ideally within an education or public sector setting
Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
Confident user of financial management systems and Microsoft Office
Effective communicator with a collaborative, proactive approach
