The Opportunity
We seek to expand our team with Engagement Managers in our Retail and Consumer Products (RCP) Practice. You will build on your strategy, transaction, and commercial experience, working on projects for private equity and corporate clients in sectors like consumer goods, food & beverage, retail, e-commerce, and travel.
This role offers a chance to accelerate your career in RCP sector strategy, combining commercial diligence, strategic analysis, and sector passion. Strong problem-solving, creativity, and a can-do attitude are essential.
You Key Responsibilities
Leading client projects, shaping deliverables, developing client relationships, and supporting business development. Responsibilities include:
* Managing project teams of 3–8 consultants
* Fostering an inclusive team culture
* Identifying opportunities within existing clients
* Collaborating with wider EY teams across functions
* Contributing to internal initiatives and thought leadership
Skills and Attributes for Success
Ideal candidates are curious, hardworking, entrepreneurial, and passionate about the consumer and retail sectors. Excellent communication, collaboration, and coaching skills are vital.
Qualifications
* Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
* Strategy consulting or strong commercial/transaction background
* Project management skills and ability to meet deadlines
* Analytical expertise and proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel
* Passion for consumer sectors and sector-specific experience
Ideally, you will also
* Have sector-specific focus within RCP
* Be an excellent communicator
* Have business development experience
* Be a team player and effective time manager
* Be a coach to junior team members
