We are looking for reliable Class 2 Refuse Drivers to work with a well-established waste and recycling service in Kingsbridge. This is a physically active driving position, combining vehicle operation with hands-on collections. It offers regular shifts, competitive pay, and the possibility of moving into a permanent contract for the right people.

(Within easy reach of South Brent, Totnes, Paignton, Plymouth, and surrounding South Devon towns)
Salary
£17.37 – £26.06 per hour (PAYE Advanced)
Alternate payment methods are also available.
Key Responsibilities
1. Operate a Category C (Class 2) refuse and recycling vehicle on designated routes
2. Assist with the collection, loading, and unloading of waste and recycling bins
3. Liaise with depot staff for daily route instructions and updates
4. Carry out basic vehicle checks and report any issues promptly
5. Follow all health and safety guidelines on and off the road
Qualifications
Essential
6. Valid Cat C (Class 2) driving licence
7. CPC and digital tachograph cards
8. Maximum of 6 points on licence (no DR, DD, IN endorsements)
9. Physically capable of handling bins and containers
10. Own transport to travel to depot
11. Mobile phone for receiving route/schedule information
Desirable
12. Prior experience in waste collection or multi-drop driving
13. Strong knowledge of South Devon routes and areas
