Your main duties will be to evaluate your client’s wants, needs, goals and expectations and create bespoke training programs to meet them. These training programs will be designed to help clients improve their health and fitness, as well as achieve specific fitness goals.
On a daily basis, you will be instructing and advising clients on the best way to execute their training program with good technique, as well as instructing how to use fitness equipment safely and effectively. You will also be providing ongoing guidance in nutrition, recovery and mindset.
We also offer Small Group Personal Training (SGPT), which involves 1 trainer coaching 3 members on a centralised, progressive training program. We also have contracts with local companies who invest in their employee's health and fitness by providing them with the opportunity to attend SGPT sessions. These programs have been designed by our senior technical trainers and you'll be expected to execute these sessions.
Responsibilities
* Assessing client's physical condition, lifestyle and goals to create bespoke training programs and provide guidance for nutrition, exercise, recovery and mindset.
* Coaching your clients to execute their training programs with good technique and ensuring client satisfaction, motivation, progression, consistency and results.
* You will be responsible for the organisation, satisfaction and progression of the clients under your supervision (known as your "Guardian Angel list"). You will be rewarded when these clients renew their membership/package.
* Contribute towards and/or lead Company activities outside of the delivery of Personal Training services that further the interests of the company.
* Continually pursue CPD opportunities as per the direction and guidance of the Directors.
* From time to time assist in the operational procedures required to maintain a high standard of upkeep throughout the club.
* In addition to the duties this job normally entails, you may from time to time be required to undertake other duties to meet the needs of the company or that of an associated company. Staff adaptability and flexibility are therefore basic requirements of employment.
Requirements
Qualifications and Experience
Minimum Requirement:
* Level 3 personal training diploma.
One, or a combination of:
* A degree (or higher) in exercise, sport, nutrition, or health science.
* Over 3 years of experience as a personal trainer in a reputable personal training gym.
* Over 3 years as a self-employed personal trainer with proven success.
* Work with elite/high level athletic development.
