Team Lead – Warehouse (Night Shift)
Shifts: Sunday - Thursday 22:00 - 06:00
We are recruiting to support growth and drive performance, efficiency, and safety in a fast-paced warehouse operation.
Overview
Are you ready to take the next step in your career and lead a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment? We’re looking for a Warehouse Team Leader on the Night Shift to join our operation and play a key role in driving performance, efficiency, and safety.
What will you be doing?
* As a Warehouse Team Leader, oversee a section of the warehouse, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and supporting the management team in achieving business targets.
* Lead a team of operatives, coordinate workloads, monitor performance, and maintain high standards of quality and productivity.
* Manage and motivate your team to meet KPIs and deadlines.
* Train new operatives and support ongoing development.
* Maintain accurate inventory and stock movement records.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and foster a culture of safe working.
* Produce reports, assist with stock takes, and plan future capacity needs.
* Act as a key point of contact for customers, suppliers, and transport partners, ensuring excellent communication and service delivery.
About You
* Proven experience in a warehouse leadership role.
* Strong people management skills with the ability to inspire and develop others.
* Excellent communication, planning, and organisational skills.
* Possess a proactive approach, confident in decision making.
* Good IT knowledge, including spreadsheets and warehouse systems.
* A solid understanding of health and safety requirements.
* A forklift licence and knowledge of lean techniques would be an advantage.
