Join the UK’s leading independent marine fuel specialist and play a key role in keeping global trade moving. Henty Oil, a trusted subsidiary of World Fuel Services, is looking for a Terminal Operator to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality cargo transfer and storage operations at our Liverpool terminal.
You’ll be part of a close-knit team of 11 Operators working on a 24/7 shift pattern, supporting critical marine fuel operations that power vessels worldwide.

What You’ll Do
5. Receive and transfer cargo into storage facilities.
6. Discharge product to company and third-party vessels.
7. Blend products to precise specifications and maintain correct temperatures.
8. Perform tank gauging for vessel movements and month-end stock checks.
9. Keep accurate computerised records of all product movements.
10. Ensure all operations meet strict Health & Safety, Quality, and Environmental standards.
11. Complete documentation before, during, and after transactions.
12. Support terminal housekeeping and emergency response readiness (First Aid & Fire Warden).
What We’re Looking For
Essential Skills & Experience
13. Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
14. Strong numeracy skills for blend calculations.
15. Flexible to work shifts and overtime when required.
16. Experience working to strict Health & Safety standards.
17. Comfortable working at heights (up to 16 metres).
18. A proactive team player with self-motivation.
19. Own transport for commuting.
Desirable
20. Ship-to-shore operations experience (COG – Chemical, Oil & Gas).
21. Basic engineering knowledge.
22. Forklift Truck licence.
23. First Aid and/or Fire Warden certification.
