About Amberley Hall Care Home

Award-winning Amberley Hall is one of the top residential care homes in Kings Lynn. All of our team at the purpose‑built, 106‑bedroom care home are ready to welcome residents with compassionate and caring attitudes.


About the Role

As a Receptionist you will be the first point of contact for all enquiries, face‑to‑face or via telephone.


Salary

£12.21 per hour.


Shift Pattern

15 hours per week, worked on a rota basis from Monday to Sunday.


Home Location

Baldock Drive, King's Lynn, England, PE30 3DQ.


Key Duties & Responsibilities

* Answer incoming telephone calls and ensure all enquiries are dealt with in a timely and professional manner.
* Assist with a variety of administrative tasks including responding to emails, copying, faxing and taking notes.
* Ensure residents receive their post and prepare all outgoing post daily.
* Perform any additional duties as assigned by the Home Admin Manager.


Training, Skills & Experience Required

* Experience working in a receptionist role is essential.
* Experience in a care home environment is highly advantageous.
* Excellent written, non‑verbal and verbal communication skills.
* Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and Windows‑based operating environments – Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Explorer.
