Partner with England’s largest land manager and help care for the nation’s 1,500 woods and forests. As part of a dynamic civil engineering team, you’ll deliver inspection and maintenance programmes for key assets – from car parks and forest roads to bridges, cycle trails, and more. Your work will keep these spaces safe, accessible, and ready for millions to enjoy.
Your new roleDrive the delivery of exciting civil engineering projects that shape landscapes andmunities. In this role, you’ll:
1. Lead projects from concept topletion – prepare work packages, manage contractors, and ensure top-quality results.
2. Champion safety andpliance – uphold CDM 2015 standards and act as NEC4 Supervisor/Project Manager.
3. Collaborate and innovate – work with internal teams and external partners to deliver sustainable solutions.
4. Make an impact – oversee works across the district, with opportunities for travel and hands-on site involvement.

What you'll need to succeed
5. Solid understanding of civil engineering principles and practices.
6. Hands-on experience supervising and monitoring contractors, ideally in construction.
7. Strong health & safety awareness, including preparing risk assessments and method statements.
8. Excellentmunication skills – clear, confident, and professional in both writing and speech.
9. Proficient in MS Office andfortable with digital tools.
10. Minimum of HNC in Civil Engineering, opportunity to be sponsored through degree
11. Full, clean DVLA licence
