Permanent. Part time, 17.5 hours per week.
Working arrangements: Standard working hours between 9am – 5pm, Monday to Friday. Hybrid working, with a minimum of 6 days per month in the office.
We are seeking to recruit for an Administrator (internally known as Invited Reviews Coordinator) position. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to work in a stimulating and challenging environment, and who is looking to have real impact on improving patient care.
This is an exciting and unique opportunity to work with senior clinicians who are experts in their respective fields and to improve the quality of care provided to patients. Supported by the IR team, you will play an important role in administering reviews from the initial point of contact through to completion, liaising with potential reviewers and the requesting healthcare organisation, arranging visits and tracking follow up. Additionally, you will support the regular IR governance and development meetings as well as contribute to ad hoc process improvement tasks.
You will need to be highly motivated as you will be part of a small but enthusiastic team who are passionate about building up this service.
Experience
* Relevant administrative qualifications or experience.
* Experience of dealing with sensitive and confidential information and ability to act with discretion.
* At least three years’ experience in an administrative post which has included a degree of responsibility and contact with a wide variety of individuals.
* Experience of handling administrative work of a considerable variety and prioritising successfully under pressure.
* Experience of coordinating teams, meetings, and events.
* Ability to work to high levels of accuracy and give attention to detail.
* Good interpersonal skills including a professional and personable telephone manner
