Job Description:
Are you passionate about supporting children with their mental health needs?
A rewarding position has become available for a Youth Mental Health Worker in a school in Bracknell. This role offers valuable experience and the opportunity to make a significant difference in the lives of vulnerable children.
The school focuses on supporting students diagnosed with Autism, providing necessary interventions to aid their development and education.
As a Youth Mental Health Worker, you will help children manage and cope with their emotions, regulate their feelings, and adopt healthy coping strategies.
Your daily tasks will include supporting and shadowing the class teacher, providing 1:1 support for SEN students, and assisting in delivering engaging lessons. Behavioral management may also be part of your duties.
This role is a transformative experience that will enrich your life and positively impact children struggling to cope in the classroom.
Experience working with vulnerable children is desirable but not essential. A background in sports, art, or drama is advantageous. Graduates in relevant fields will also be considered.
Interviews are scheduled to start as soon as this week. If you're interested, please apply directly to this advert to arrange an interview or trial.
