A well x2011;established manufacturing business is seeking a Multi x2011;Skilled Maintenance Engineer to support plant and equipment performance across a high x2011;volume production facility.
This is a hands x2011;on shift x2011;based role, ideal for an engineer who enjoys a varied workload, fault x2011;finding under pressure and maintaining high engineering and safety standards.
Role And Responsibilities
* Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on a wide range of electrical and mechanical equipment
* Respond quickly to breakdowns to minimise downtime and support continuous production
* Complete preventative maintenance tasks in line with site schedule and priorities
* Record work completed, parts used and maintenance activity accurately
* Maintain safe working practices and comply with food safety and health and safety standards
Knowledge, Skills And Experience
* Experience in a maintenance engineering role within a manufacturing or production environment
* Time x2011;served apprenticeship with electrical and/or mechanical qualifications (NVQ Level 2/3, HNC desirable)
* Proven fault x2011;finding ability across electrical and mechanical plant
* Previous experience working with a PPM systemStrong teamwork and communication skills
