Job Specification
The Job You’ll Do;
1. Define quality requirements for internal and externally manufactured items.
2. In cooperation with design & manufacturing departments, design and implement effective inspection procedures.
3. Manage and maintain the calibration system in accordance with ISO9001.
4. Management of non-conforming material through quality management system procedures.
5. Ensure timely generation of monthly quality/non-quality data and reports.
6. Assist with the development of Quality control systems in accordance with company procedures and the requirements of accreditation bodies.
7. Participate in the investigation of customer complaints.
8. Manage and raise requests relating to products through the complaint database.
9. Management and documentation of standard work as directed.
10. Produce certificates of conformity and other related customer documentation when required.
11. Participate in Change Note meetings.
12. Provide training and support on quality topics to supervision and operatives as required.
13. Undertake specific projects as allocated by the department manager.
14. Perform any other duties within your capabilities as requested from time to time by management.
15. Monitor key suppliers and take a proactive approach to supplier non-conformance.
16. Undertake supplier audits as team member and quality department representative.
17. Undertake internal ISO9001 quality audits.

About You;
19. Possess and be able to demonstrate an understanding of Quality control systems.
20. Possess an understanding of processes involved in sheet metal fabrication and galvanisation processes (desired).
21. Possess good analytical skills.
22. Be able to demonstrate a practical hands-on approach to problem solving.
23. Have good oral and written communication skills.
24. Be able to work well under pressure.
25. Be able to work effectively within multifunctional teams and individually.
26. Be computer literate and able to use Microsoft Office, Outlook, Teams.
27. Be prepared to undertake additional training.
28. Be prepared to work at alternative sites including travel to supplier’s premises when required.
