We are seeking an enthusiastic and confident Maths Graduate Cover Supervisor to support teaching and learning in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 maths lessons at a forward-thinking secondary school in Rochdale.
The Role
As a Cover Supervisor, you will:
* Deliver pre-prepared maths lessons in the absence of the class teacher.
* Support pupils with classwork, helping to explain mathematical concepts clearly and confidently.
* Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a positive learning environment.
* Work collaboratively with the maths department to raise attainment and engagement.
The Ideal Candidate
We’re looking for someone who:
* Holds a degree in Mathematics (or a closely related subject).
* Has excellent communication and numeracy skills.
* Is confident managing groups of students aged 11–16.
* Has a genuine interest in education and supporting young learners.
