We’re looking for an Intermediate Mechanical Design Engineer to join a busy and fast-growing Building Services team working out of a South London office. With a strong pipeline of high-end residential and prestigious commercial fit-out projects—including work at landmark sites—this is a fantastic opportunity for a technically capable engineer who’s ready to hit the ground running.
You’ll be working alongside a close-knit team, supported by a hands-on director. The atmosphere is collaborative, delivery-focused, and suited to someone who’s self-motivated, organized, and ready to take ownership of their work.
What You’ll Be Doing As a Mechanical Design Engineer
* Designing and coordinating mechanical building services systems (HVAC, plumbing, etc.) across high-end residential and commercial projects
* Supporting project delivery from concept through to completion
* Liaising with clients, architects, contractors, and internal design teams
* Attending site and design meetings
* Producing technical drawings and specifications
* Ensuring designs meet current building regulations and sustainability goals
What We Are Looking For
* 3-6 years experience in mechanical building services design (consultancy-side preferred)
* Strong technical ability and confidence in taking on project work with minimal supervision
* Proficiency in design tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, and IES
* Understanding of UK Building Regulations and CIBSE standards
* Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
