About the role:
Join Ipsos Karian and Box, a focused community of employee‑experience experts, as an Insight Analyst supporting employee listening programmes for FTSE100 and other major clients. You’ll analyse quantitative and qualitative data, identify patterns and hypotheses, and translate results into narrative‑led reports, clear visualisations and practical recommendations. Day‑to‑day work includes preparing datasets, running advanced analyses (sampling, segmentation, regression), creating story‑led outputs in DisplayR/other visual tools, and presenting findings in client workshops. You’ll collaborate closely with data scientists, insight colleagues, designers and project managers to shape research outputs and influence strategic decision‑making. This role offers hands‑on technical work, direct client engagement, and exposure to varied projects across a boutique‑style team with the resources and reach of a global research business.
About you:
1. Strong analytical thinker with experience turning employee research data into actionable insights and business narratives.
2. Comfortable working with quantitative and qualitative datasets and explaining complex analysis in a digestible way.
3. Skilled in data visualisation and report design to create engaging, narrative‑led outputs.
4. Proficient in R (and/or other statistical tools) and advanced Excel; experience with DisplayR desirable.
5. Experienced in employee listening programmes or related employee experience research.
6. Proactive, collaborative team player who works well with data scientists, designers and project managers.
7. Proficiency in AI use and adoption to speed analysis, synthesis and improve client deliverables.
8. Resilient, solutions‑focused and motivated to learn and progress.
Essential skills:
9. Excellent analytical, numerical and problem‑solving skills.
10. Practical experience with quantitative analysis (sampling, segmentation, regression) and qualitative synthesis.
11. Proficiency in R and advanced Excel for data preparation and analysis.
12. Ability to create clear, engaging visualisations and narrative‑led reports (DisplayR experience a plus).
13. Strong written and verbal communication; ability to present insights to stakeholders.
14. Experience working on employee listening programmes or organisational research projects.
15. Familiarity with working in multidisciplinary teams and translating analysis into practical recommendations.
16. Proficiency in AI tools to enhance efficiency and insight generation.
Desirable skills:
17. Advanced degree in a related discipline (., Psychology, Statistics, Organisational Behaviour).
18. Experience using DisplayR or similar report‑building platforms.
19. Prior exposure to FTSE100 or large corporate clients and stakeholder workshops.
20. Knowledge of CRM/client management systems and working in matrixed environments.
21. Experience applying advanced analysis techniques beyond basics (., predictive models, clustering).
22. Track record of contributing to programme design or proposition development.
23. Experience working alongside data scientists and integrating their outputs into client‑ready narratives.
