Our client school is dedicated to supporting children and young people aged 4 to 19 with severe and complex learning difficulties, including those with additional diagnoses of autism and/or physical/sensory disabilities. Situated in purpose-built facilities alongside local inclusive-minded mainstream schools, our client emphasizes creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
We're currently seeking committed SEN Teaching Assistants to join their team. The ethos of our client school centers on high expectations for both learners and staff. With their "small schools" approach and small class sizes, they ensure that every student receives consistent and supportive attention tailored to their unique needs. Their aim is to foster enjoyable learning experiences, challenge students, and empower them to realize their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide support to students with diverse learning needs, including severe and complex learning difficulties, autism, and physical/sensory disabilities.
• Assist in implementing individualized educational plans.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to meet the specific needs of each student.
• Encourage student engagement and participation in learning activities.
Requirements:
• Previous experience working with children or young people with special educational needs.
• Understanding of different learning styles and ability to adapt teaching methods accordingly.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting students with diverse learning needs.
