We are seeking passionate and dedicated Teachers and In-Class Support Staff to work with students who use English as an Additional Language (EAL). This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the educational experience of learners from diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds.
We are particularly interested in candidates who can support or speak the following languages:
1. Polish
2. Ukrainian
3. Urdu
4. Hindi
5. Arabic
6. Bengali
7. Farsi / Dari / Persian
Roles Available
EAL Teachers
You will:
8. Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to EAL learners
9. Assess student language development and adapt teaching methods accordingly
10. Support students in developing English proficiency across all curriculum areas
11. Work collaboratively with mainstream teachers and support staff
In-Class Support (Teaching Assistants / Language Support Workers)
You will:
12. Provide in-class support to EAL students
13. Assist with translation and communication where appropriate
14. Help students access the curriculum and engage fully in lessons
15. Support social integration and wellbeing
What We’re Looking For
16. Experience working with children or young people (preferably in an educational setting)
17. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
18. Fluency in one or more of the listed languages (highly desirable)
19. For teaching roles: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
20. Cultural awareness and a commitment to inclusive education
