Team Manager for a Children's Residential Home | Vale of Glamorgan | Full Time | Salary circa £36,000 (inclusive) + Paid Overtime + Pension + Gym Membership

What will your role look like?
* Deputise for the Registered Manager, ensuring a positive, person-centred environment
* Handle administration and provide weekly management reports
* Plan and oversee shifts, ensuring smooth operations
* Supervise staff, ensuring clarity on duties and care plans
* Support staff development through training, supervision, and guidance
* Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations
* Conduct staff appraisals and address performance issues
* Manage budgets, finances, and attendance records
* Attend childcare reviews and planning meetings
* Engage in direct work with young people as a role model
* Maintain accurate records for monitoring and evaluation
Are you the right person for the job?
* You will ideally hold a QCF Level 3 qualification in Children and Young People, though those with a strong background in management and transferable skills will be considered on individual merit
* Ideally have prior experience working in a Children's Residential Setting
* Possess strong leadership skills
* Have a person-centred approach to create a safe, nurturing environment
* Be organised and proactive, capable of handling administration and shift planning
