This post is fixed term / secondment until due to Secondment cover.

An exciting opportunity has become available to to join our team on Alaw Ward, Ysbyty Gwynedd. Alaw Ward is an oncology/haematology and palliative care ward which prides itself on providing the highest standards of care to patients and supporting relatives.

The is for a healthcare support worker with full time or part time hours considered. To work on the ward, it will involve rotation onto night duty; the ability to have a flexible approach to working hours is essential.

The post holder will support the trained nurse and other health care professionals in the delivery of the highest standard of patient focused care. They will assist in improving the quality of the fundamental aspects of Health and Social Care for individuals who are receiving SACT treatment.

Main duties of the job

To assist the registered nurse in carrying out direct nursing care.

To undertake delegated duties related to patient care that contributes to the ongoing support of patients.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
