The Role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic Art Teacher to teach across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, delivering engaging lessons that foster artistic skills, creativity, and a love of visual arts. The ideal candidate will bring energy, subject knowledge, and a student-focused approach to teaching.
Key Responsibilities:
* Teach Art to students aged 11–16, including preparation for GCSE Art & Design.
* Create an inclusive classroom environment that encourages experimentation and self-expression.
* Plan and deliver inspiring lessons that incorporate a range of media and techniques.
* Monitor and assess student progress effectively.
* Contribute to the wider school culture, including art clubs, exhibitions, or creative events.
Requirements:
* Fully Qualified Teacher (FQT) with UK QTS is essential.
* A degree in Art or a related discipline.
* Experience teaching Art in a secondary school setting.
* Strong classroom management and communication skills.
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply through Teaching Personnel).
