Would you like to further your administrative career in Clinical Research? We are pleased to offer an opportunity for an experienced, efficient and motivated individual to join our Clinical Research team. The post available is on a part-time basis within the Adult Research Team.
Research at NNUH is conducted primarily at the NIHR Norfolk Clinical Research Facility (CRF), located at the main hospital as well as the Quadram Institute on the Norwich Research Park. The Norfolk CRF is one of 28 NIHR- part funded clinical research facilities networked across the UK. We have a shared goal within our team: to undertake clinical research to improve treatment and care of patients here at NNUH and beyond. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to assisting the delivery teams in achieving their goals, as well as the importance of understanding our Trust’s PRIDE values. Responsibilities
* The Research Project Administrator will provide administrative support for clinical research projects, acting as the first point of contact for inquiries from participants, the research team and other colleagues within research.
* Manage project data and assist with coordination between research teams, ensuring compliance with ethical standards and organising research resources.
* Maintain accurate data recording and correct data management related to research projects; plan activities to ensure information, requests and enquiries are delivered to time requirements.
* Organise and coordinate meetings and activities related to the research, including multi-disciplinary team meetings, managing the diaries of Researchers and booking appointments for research participants; assist in the preparation of meeting reports and data related to the research.
* Maintain stock and order supplies for research projects.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Significant experience of working in an office/administration environment with excellent communication skills and a positive, flexible approach to workload.
* Strong organisational and data management skills; prior experience in research or administration is beneficial.
* Willingness to work in a collaborative environment and uphold PRIDE values.
