The Role: Health, Safety and Wellbeing Manager
As a key member of our Health, Safety and Wellbeing (HS&W) department, you will play a vital role in supporting our mission to reduce HS&W risks and foster positive working environments. Your primary goal will be to help stakeholders achieve the highest levels of HS&W performance.

Key Responsibilities:
* Identify and address competence issues for supported projects.
* Provide top-notch HS&W support and advice to assigned projects.
* Identify and escalate resource issues that could pose HS&W risks.
* Support the implementation of company-wide HS&W strategy objectives.
* Contribute to work-winning activities as needed.
* Influence and engage project personnel in HS&W initiatives.
* Promote a positive HS&W reporting culture.
Your Profile
Essential Qualifications:
* Member of IOSH working towards Chartered Status.
* Exceptional people leadership skills.
* Experience providing technical H&S support to complex construction or civil engineering projects within UK Tier 1 contractors.
* Competent in root cause analysis.
* Excellent communication and influencing skills.
* Proven track record of leading HS&W improvements with successful outcomes.
* Proactive approach to personal learning and development.
* Strong technical background with experience across major project schemes.
Desired Qualifications:
* Chartered member of IOSH.
* NEBOSH Diploma or NVQ Level 5/6 in Occupational Health and Safety.
* Lifting experience.
* Mental Health First Aider certification.
* Experience in a Senior Leadership Team.
* Experience managing direct reports.
* Understanding of behavioral psychology and human factors.
* Involvement in external HS&W working groups.
