Overview
Manx Wildlife Trust is recruiting a Nature Finance Officer to lead a pioneering one-year project exploring how to build high-integrity nature markets in the Island.
Closing date: Sunday 28 September 2025 | Salary: Band G £32,972; Band I £36,708 (dependent on experience); Contract: 12-month fixed term; Location: Hybrid working with regular travel between the Isle of Man and UK; Hours: 37.5 per week.
Responsibilities
* Deliver a feasibility study into nature finance and ecosystem service markets.
* Develop a Manx Carbon Code tailored to the Island’s ecosystems.
* Establish a transparent carbon credit registry to support credible, nature-based projects.
* Collaborate with Manx Wildlife Trust, the Royal Society of Wildlife Trusts (RSWT), Isle of Man Government, landowners, businesses, and conservation partners to implement frameworks that reward and protect nature restoration for future generations.

* Strong knowledge of carbon and nature markets or ecosystem services
* Project management and stakeholder engagement skills
* Excellent analytical and communication abilities
* Enthusiasm for innovation, conservation, and governance
