The Role As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and support staff to help pupils engage with learning and develop both academically and socially. This role requires someone who is patient, adaptable, and willing to get stuck in to support the needs of the students and the wider school community. Ideal Candidate The school is ideally looking for someone with previous experience working within a school setting. However, they are also keen to hear from candidates with transferable experience in areas such as: Early Years Children’s mental health Social care Youth work Other roles supporting children or young people The successful candidate will: Be available 4–5 days per week Have an open-minded and positive attitude Be patient, caring, and proactive Be committed to supporting children with diverse needs Application & Vetting All applicants will be required to attend an interview and provide the necessary documentation in line with safeguarding and vetting standards, supported by a trusted consultant.
